For Naturally 7, the turning point came in the fall of 2007:
From quiet success in Europe they have been propelled onto the world stage, performing before more than a million people.

As the opening act for internationally acclaimed singer Michael Bublé, Naturally 7 were met with standing ovations nightly in Europe, the U.K., Canada, Australia and the U.S!

With their rich harmonies, an unbelievable ability to replicate instruments and a stage presence that can be felt in every seat of the house, Naturally 7, the first vocal play group ever, are amazing, charming fans where ever they perform.

Today Naturally 7 are Roger Thomas (musical director, arranger, 1st Baritone, Rap), Warren Thomas (percussion, guitar, clarinet, 3rd tenor) Rod Eldridge (1st tenor, scratching, trumpet), Jamal Reed (4th Tenor, electric guitar), Dwight Stewart (2nd baritone), Garfield Buckley (2nd Tenor, Harmonica) and “Hops” Hutton (Bass).

The band has now recorded four albums – “Non Fiction” (2000) the aptly titled “What Is It” (2003) and the christmas album “Christmas …It’s A Love Story” (2004) and “Ready II Fly” (2006).

March 2010 has them returning as Special Guests on Bublé’s ‘Crazy Love’-Tour around the World!

In March of 2010, Naturally 7 released a new CD, entitled ‘VocalPlay’. The package contains 14 new songs. The CD features duets with Grammy-Winner Michael Buble (‘Relax Max’) and German Superstar Xavier Naidoo (‘Wild vor Wut’) .

He quickly discovered that rock music was in his bones, and returned to Los Angeles to take his music to the next level. In Hawaii, CARLSON began playing mandolin and steel guitar, which enhanced the acoustic flavor of his first two solo releases “Spot In The Corner” and “Rollin’ On”.

CARLSON juggles his time between his RCA-signed band “Kane” where he is primary songwriter and guitarist, and his “Steve Carlson Band”, playing live concerts at home and on the road. All this activity has shot his third album ‘Groovin On The Inside’ (2007) to the top of the charts on CD Baby-an awesome accomplishment on a website loaded with musical talent.

J MINUS was originally an image in the mind of one man – Dylan Fant.
The Seattle-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and recording engineer enlisted two unique voices to complete his bittersweet storytelling, and
J MINUS (in its raw form) was born. While Dylan’s songs were familiar stories of love, longing, and loss, Chris Mongillo gave insight to personal awakening in the world and Trevor Wheetman spoke through poetry and metaphor. Their combined efforts were as varied ~yet, strangely unified~ as the musical genres they spanned, “everything from energized optimistic rock to sweet and poignant acoustic ballads.” (Broadjam.com)

In a matter of weeks following the debut album “Sun and Moon” (2006), the group enlisted the talents of bassist Myer Harrell and guitarist Matt Gamboa to bring the heartfelt recordings to life.

JASON MANNS’s debut album reached an impressive level of success for an independent release and he is currently in the studio working on his second album. In 2008, JASON toured the UK, playing to sold out crowds and had a number of placements on popular television shows on the CW (e.g. Supernatural) and ABC. Although there was a studio band on the debut album, all of JASON’s performances to date have been solo/acoustic, just one voice and one guitar, because of the ease with which he can travel the country and the world,  just plug in and play!

Soul meets Funk – AKAY bietet infektiöse Popmusik, die sich nicht hinter amerikanischen Produktionen verstecken muss.

Die 14 Songs seines Debütalbums „Comfort Zone“ offenbaren jedenfalls eine stimmliche und akustische Höchstleistung nach der anderen. Ob packender Uptempo-Song oder sinnliche Schmacht-Ballade – so ausdrucksstark und trotzdem variabel in der Stimme kannte man den Sänger bislang nicht.

„Ich habe andere Vorstellungen vom Leben und von mir als Person, ich habe mir andere Ziele gesetzt“, sagt AKAY. „Ich bin viel realistischer geworden. An das neue Projekt gehe ich jedenfalls mit Herzblut und Seele heran. Was im neuen Album steckt, bin zu hundert Prozent ich.“ Und das kann sich hören lassen: Songs wie das treibende „Comfort Zone“ oder das mitreißende „So Good“ haben jedenfalls das Potential, jeden Club zu burnen.

Zum Label Peppermint Jam ist AKAY über den Produzenten Jan van der Toorn gekommen, mit dem er bei früheren Projekten bereits zusammen gearbeitet hat und der seit einiger Zeit für die Hannoveraner Hitschmiede arbeitet. Nebenbei haben die beiden immer wieder Demos gemacht, die dann letztlich über van der Toorn bei Labelchef Mousse T. gelandet sind.

Gemischt hat das Album übrigens der legendäre Hans-Martin Buff, lange Jahre Studio-Engineer bei niemandem geringerem als Prince in dessen Paisley-Park-Studios in Minneapolis und mitverantwortlich für mehr als 50 US-Alben von u.a. Chaka Khan, Larry Graham und No Doubt.
